Empowering teachers and students for a brighter future.

Supporting high-quality learning & development

Looking for high-quality childcare or early childhood education is no small task. It can seem like there is an overwhelming amount of daycare centers all promising to give the most to the children who attend them. When a family is searching for a childcare program, they need to understand what makes a childcare facility high-quality and why that is so beneficial to the development of their child.

Several research studies show that high-quality early learning helps kids develop stronger language, math, and social skills upon entering school. Studies also show that they are less likely to require special education classes as they advance in their studies. Children enrolled in childcare and early learning education programs are also more likely to earn higher wages and have fewer interactions within the justice system as adults.

High-quality learning and development programs provide a strong foundation of curriculum, instruction, and assessment to give children a well-rounded experience that will benefit them now and in the future. The Learning and Development domain focuses on the learning environment and the experiences children have while at the program. The Learning and Development sub-domains include:

• Curriculum and Planning

• Child Screening and Assessment

• Interaction and Environment

We will support companies in the childcare industry to help pay higher wages to their teaching team, assist with purchasing equipment to keep their centers safe and make necessary repairs to continue providing high-quality childcare to the communities they serve.

Materials for Learning

Many educational materials in local languages are often out of date. We work with school leaders and publishers to ensure that teachers have access to current standards that are age appropriate to their classroom and written in their primary language.

The Curriculum and Planning sub-domain includes obtaining and implementing a curriculum that will be used to plan daily activities that support a child’s development and learning. A chosen curriculum must address a broad range of developmental and learning outcomes across all learning objectives, domains, and subject matter areas.

Continuing Education for Teachers

The Program commits to provide higher pay each year to their employees that earn credentials or college credit toward early childhood education degrees. Professionals commit to stay working at their programs while in school and for a period of time afterward.

Support for Communities

By building a solid foundation for creating high-quality childcare centers by providing financial assistance to bridge the gap for families needing childcare who do not qualify for childcare assistance but can not afford to pay full tuition privately.
