Meet our Board Members!

  • Heather M. - President

    Heather is the Founder and President of HBBF. Heather has been in the childcare industry as a licensed childcare provider with the State of Ohio since 2001. Heather started her career as a Type L in home provider, switched to a Type B provider in 2003. In 2007 she switched to a Type A provider when her husband joined her in the field as her assistant. Their childcare journey bloomed quickly and they opened their first center in 2008. Second location opened in 2018 and the third location in January 2023.

    Providing a safe place for children to learn and grow has been Heather’s passion since she was little. She has always felt children should be provided the opportunity to become their best versions of themselves at their pace with the guidance of kind and loving teachers.

  • David M. - Vice President & Treasurer

    David serves as the Vice-President & Treasurer of HBBF. David officially began his career in the childcare industry in 2007 with his wife Heather. David believes in keeping children young at heart through play and exploring the great outdoors. His passion for children shows with every high five, thumbs up and words of encouragement.

  • Christine P. - Secretary

    Christine is the Secretary of our board. She has been in the childcare industry as a Lead Teacher off and on for over 10 years. Her passion leads her back to childcare always. Currently she serves as an Administrator at a childcare center where she is the direct link to healthy, loving environments for the children to grow happy and healthy.

  • Samuel M. - Director

    Sam serves as a Board Director. He has been in the childcare industry as the Head Chef since 2017. Sam grew up behind the scenes of running a childcare center. He has seen first hand the effects having a high-quality childcare center provides for children’s learning. His passion for educating our youth shines through his everyday work.

  • Rylee M. - Director

    Rylee serves as a Board Director of HBBF. Rylee has also grown up behind the scenes of owning a childcare center. Rylee has been a childcare center cook and bus aid since 2018. He is an observer. Rylee works to find creative solutions to making childcare fun and educational.
